Katie and Diana created the Saiint Sisters as a platform to showcase clothing, accessories and lifestyle brands that reflect the ethically evolving world. With a background in Textile Design and Psychology, they began this journey to empower lives and businesses grounded beyond in a purpose beyond profit.
In all the turns through life so far, what is the one thing that has stayed constant in motivating you?
We have a very inspirational mother who never gives in. Her tenacity is incredible and that drives us on to keep moving forwards and always believe that what we want to do is possible. If she could do it despite the challenges she faced then so can we!
Hardest part of the Saiint journey so far? Proudest moment?
The hardest part is helping brands who don’t realise how much effort bloggers put into writing a wonderful post of taking great shots. A lot of love goes into it. Our proudest moments are when we go to conscious fashion events and people recognise us! How crazy! It shows our positive word is spreading.
What would you like to see change in the industry in the next 10 years?
We’d like to see consumers take a more visible position to usher brands in the right direction.
Best piece of advice you’ve been given?
Treat others as you want to be treat. We live by this without fail. There is nobody on this planet who deserves to be treated badly or unfairly How can anyone live with the knowledge that they have hurt someone else? It just doesn’t make sense!
Katie – you mentioned that you love to express yourself through poems, can you share with us a poem you wrote?
Oh, there are so many, a lot are super personal, but I have attached one about a boy I used to see hovering around the train station where I live and he really affected me in a big way.

Diana – with a background in art and design comes a natural love to learn about new cultures through their heritage of crafts. Do you have a favourite travel story to share?
Yes, it has got to be the trip Katie and I did to India a few years ago. It was out of this world. The culture, history and colours are like no other country in the world! We explored the golden triangle, got on local trains, visited markets, temples and ate the most delightful food. I love patterns, texture and bright shades, so the memory will remain for years to come.
